Our Mission
Imagine you are forced to leave the safety of your home due to an unfortunate situation, a prospect of a night out on the streets
scared and vulnerable is daunting, where from here?
Ideally, our mission would be to see that there are safe places for people in this situation to go to and to help the vulnerable on the streets. We will achieve this by way of giving collaborative support to other organisations aligned with the same aim, and who are already on the ground.
Partnership with Pete’s Pantry
Behind every food parcel is a person, a family, and a story. Across Victoria, more than 500,000 households, including over 400,000 children experience severe food insecurity, often facing impossible choices between food, housing, healthcare, and other essential expenses. Through our partnership with Pete’s Pantry, Somebody’s Child is helping turn compassion into action. Together, we provide practical food assistance, connection, and hope to people doing it tough, creating a welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Because no one should have to face hunger alone.
